Heat pump rebates are offered through Efficiency Nova Scotia.

To qualify for Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Green Heat and Home Energy Assessment incentives, ductless mini-split heat pump systems must be listed on the Cold Climate Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pumps list.

Homeowners can apply for rebates within 90 days of purchase and installation of qualifying heat pump products. In order to qualify for a rebate, your application and all associated documentation MUST be received within 90 days of purchase and installation.

Rebates are not available for the replacement of existing heat pumps – functioning or non-functioning.
